The 0.6 mm fine wire promotes faster flame kernel growth / development in the combustion chamber, resulting in a better / faster / more complete / more efficient burn. This faster flame growth converts more fuel into kinetic energy which results in more horsepower.
The Iridium-enhanced centre wire and platinum side wire gives superior durability resulting in significantly longer plug life.
Autolite XP spark plugs are more resistant to fouling because the fine wire centre wire lowers the voltage required from the coil to make the spark jump the gap.
