No matter how well your Mini handles, you still have to stop sometime; and if the car in front of you has ABS, you'd better be able to stop right now!
At one time the only way to get the highly desirable Cooper S or late mini disc brakes was to acquire a used set and rebuild them.
Now we have this 7.9" wide slotted and vented kit with 4 pot alloy calipers.
This is the biggest brake set up that you can get and still use some 10" alloy wheels (C-21A1964, WHL1000, WHL1001) to convert any year or model Mini to the latest type disc brakes. (Note: this kit will not fit standard 10" steel rims.)
Calipers are available in red.
This kit includes every nut, bolt and component necessary including uprights, bearings, ball joints, CV joints, brake discs(rotors), drive flanges, calipers.
All new parts. Sold assembled as per the photo.
Refer to workshop manual for torque settings.
NOTE: It is recommended that these brake kits are installed by a qualified mechanic. You may require a low volume certification. Also, you may need a brake proportioning valve to suit.
