This kit includes brand new CV joint, gaiter, clips, grease and hub nut.
Rebuilt CVs may be slightly cheaper, but the quality of the rebuilds we have tried are not worth it.
These are the best joints available since the demise of the original tooling - beware of inferior joints on the market with poor threads or the type with yellowish nuts.
They fit all cars with Cooper S or larger disc brakes. These are the larger type constant velocity joint as fitted to all disc brake models except 997/998 Coopers which used the smaller type.
Old type CV joints with twice drilled split pin holes torque up to 150lb ft and then tighten to first split pin hole available.
The later type CV with a single split pin hole can be torqued up to 193lb ft and then tighten up to split pin hole.
